Exploring
the theology
of the
resurrection
Saturday
3 December
2011
The study
day will
first look
at the
biblical
accounts of
the
resurrection
in the
Gospels and
Acts in
order to
discover
what the
early
Christians
believed
happened and
how that
understanding
informs our
understanding
in the 21st
century.
Then we will
go on to
look at
Paul’s
letters to
see what he
says about
the
significance
and meaning
of the
resurrection.
A further
session will
look at the
theology of
the
resurrection
in other NT
writings.
The goal of
the day is
to help us
understand
the
importance
of the
resurrection
for our
Christian
faith today.
