Dennis is
presently
Ministerial
Development
Officer for
the diocese
of
St
Albans
and
Residentiary
Canon at the
Cathedral
and Abbey
Church of St
Alban.
He is
also
Visiting
Research
Fellow in
New
Testament
and Ancient
Rhetoric at
the
University
of
Chichester
. Previously
he worked in
parish
ministry in
Birmingham
. In
1994, he was
appointed
Director of
the West
Midlands
Ministerial
Training
Course which
is part of
the Queen's
Foundation,
Birmingham
. In
2001 he was
appointed
Dean of the
Queen's
College and
later Acting
Principal
for the
Queen's
Foundation.
He lectures
and writes
in the area
of New
Testament
studies with
a particular
interest in
St.
Paul
’s
writings,
rhetorical
criticism,
and a
biblical
theology of
mission and
ministry.
Presently he
is finishing
a book on 1
Corinthians.
